Martyn's Law for pubs, restaurants, and small hospitality
If your pub, restaurant, or function room can hold over 200 people, you're in scope for Martyn's Law. Most independent pubs and small chains will be Standard Tier. The law asks for documented procedures and aware staff. Most pubs already have most of this informally. Premly's job is to capture what you already know and produce the paperwork in twenty minutes.
The law
What the law expects from pubs and hospitality
Standard Tier means four procedures (evacuation, invacuation, lockdown, communication) and staff who know what they say. No SIA submission. No security consultant required. Just procedures, documented, and a trained team.
Premly
What Premly does for pubs and hospitality
The wizard asks about your specific place. Front door onto the high street, fire exit through the kitchen, the back garden as an assembly point. Whether you have function rooms upstairs. How shift handovers work. The procedure reads like something a pub landlord would actually write, because the specifics come from you. New starters get a link as part of induction.

Frequently asked, by pubs and hospitality
We never get to 200 people normally, are we in scope?
Capacity is the maximum the premises could hold, not the typical Saturday night. If your fire safety paperwork says you can hold 250, you're Standard Tier.
I run three pubs, can I do them in one go?
Each pub is a separate premises and needs its own procedure (different layouts, different exits). Multi-venue pricing is on request, or do them one at a time at the single-venue rate.
Do I need to retrain staff every time the procedure updates?
Existing staff get prompted to acknowledge the new version. New staff acknowledge the current version as part of induction. Premly tracks both.
